SOIVOHLE'
- Is a brand of
hand blended artisan perfumes, created by Independent Perfumer Liz
Zorn, Owner and President of Liz Zorn Perfumes LLC. Liz
first coined the term "Modern Natural" many years ago,
and lunched her first ready to wear line of natural
perfumes "The Alpha Series" in 2005. Until then her
private studio and custom perfume services were by appointment
only. As she was also a full time working
visual
artist. Later in 2006 Liz, opened a webstore, featuring the ready
to wear line. And expanded her studio space, to
include
a small boutique, "Zz's Petals Parfume Moderne" where
the general public could come in and purchase fragrances, and
other items offered in the boutique. From there Liz went on to
create a collection of "Mixed Media" perfumes, that
contain a high level of natural materials and complimentary modern
perfumery elements, Further expanded her business.
As well as artistic vision. The entire Liz Zorn
"Perfumery" Enterprise. Zz's Petals Parfume Moderne
and Soivohle' are all part of the main company

ARTISTS'
STATEMENT -
To the artist who's medium is scent. A perfume is a liquid portrait.
A work of art, created with depth and vision. It
may not always be a pretty sweet picture, or
an easy
picture to look at. It is art. It needs to be explored and evaluated
as such. Not merely as an ubiquitous consumer good,
It is from this place that I create. With the assumption that
my audience is of a like mind. Kindred spirits, who
have a genuine love and appreciation for the artistry of scent.
Life is short,
and it is vital that we do the things we set out to do while
we are here. Or at least give it our best shot. When I was contemplating
this new name SOIVOHLE' (pronounced: see-vo/say-vo) as the official
brand for our ready to wear perfume line. I took into account
all of the things that were important to me. Both as an artist
and as a human being. I realized that they were one and the same.
For most of my adult life I have started my day with a Peace
Meditation. Nothing extravagant or lofty. Just a simple prayer,
A silent blessing sent out into the Universe, saying let there
be Peace on Earth. Peace in this place, In me and the people
that I meet. And there I was, charting the direction for my work,
as it applied to my life, so I took from my daily meditation
this acronym. SOIVOHLE which stands for
Sending Out
Inspired Vibrations Of Healthy Loving Energy.
It's about
art, life, the artistry of creating perfume, and passing it on.
Passing on the blessing to everyone that crosses my path. I see
that logo everyday. SOIVOHLE. Immediately it registers. This
is all bigger than me, and deserves my respect. So I honor it......Liz Zorn
